Terra 600

Our elevated Terra 600 offers approximately 600 square feet of conditioned living space, featuring a loft, a fully designed kitchen and bath, and advanced mechanicals, electrical, and plumbing. All of our Casitas are built using straw- and Timberfill™ high-performance structural insulated panels and can be installed in a matter of weeks. Each enclosure system is designed to be airtight and vapor-open, supporting long-term durability, healthy indoor air quality, and strong thermal performance. With approximate R-values of R-38 at the walls, R-55 at the floors, and R-60 at the roof, these homes significantly exceed code-minimum requirements and can be readily detailed to meet Passive House certification standards. Because high-performance, air-sealed homes require intentional ventilation, Casita kits are integratively designed to specify either energy recovery ventilators (ERVs) or heat recovery ventilators (HRVs), depending on the size and needs of the unit, ensuring excellent indoor air quality and comfort. A shell option is also available for the Terra 600 Design.
